Glock 36 Barrel - This is the best defensive choice I can make for this weapon. It's not enough to go anywhere and the .45 has been proven to stop you fighting. It bounces when fired as expected, but a firm grip and varied handling can greatly reduce it. This is a great defensive weapon if you don't mind a few shots.
Buy one, send it to a Glock shop for a predator cut, have it machined from titanium nitride, install the existing extended controls, tungsten guide rod, pyramid trigger, get two extra magazines, and what do I have? mind is the ultimate weapon.

Carry it around your waist and you can go out without prints in shorts and T-shirts in the summer heat. It doesn't look out of place with a light jacket or sweater in fall/winter. With one round in the chamber and seven inside (+1 extension) 8 rounds of .45 akp, it's easy enough to handle any serious scenario.

Don't get me wrong, I love the G43, and now that I have the engine in my Springfield XD 45, I love it even more. But the G36 shows what the gun is all about.
In my opinion, this is one of the most underrated Glock models. As an ACP enthusiast in .45 this is a great CC option. I equipped my G36 with a Glock night sight, a 3.5lb trigger bar, a sequential trigger, and a Pearce +0 scope. Little wonder.
I expect this model to become more popular as it comes with the ability to attach a body light or laser.
Hopefully Glock will continue to update the G36 and expand the already successful G42 and G43 single line.

I bought my Glock 36 5 years ago and I am happy with how well it shoots. ACP ACP with less than a 3½" barrel, very manageable handling. I put 7+1 rounds in my magazines and put +1 power. Even with a comparable pistol, the weight and firepower of the pistol can't be beat. I haven't found anything better than concealed carry. Being a Glock, I believe he is reliable and will protect me if necessary.
