G2c Taurus Review - A ton of Americans are realizing the importance of owning a weapon around this time (summer 2020.) Most people are buying their first gun, or at least for the first time. Among all the things to consider when choosing a weapon, price tends to play a role. We all want the best value for money and will usually settle for something we think is reliable. One of those budget rifle options is the Taurus G2C 9mm - which I will mention in this review.
The Taurus G2C is a double-barreled pistol made in Brazil from the Taurus PT111 Millennium G2. This pistol is available in 9mm Luger as well as 40 S&W. Taurus produces about 20 different variants of the G2C - from the basic matte black model we used in our review to the same pistol available in any color you can imagine. From the outside, it is easy to see why this weapon is so popular. Compact frames and smaller price tags make it difficult for many to get through.
G2c Taurus Review
Cows are not saints in the gun community, and I think it's only fair for me to say that. Some love them and some do not. The past half-land with quality control issues over the years has brought some distrust. Although Demi has experienced some quality control issues in the past, I would point out that many people talk a lot about their customer service team and willingness to solve problems.

It's hard to criticize a pistol at such an affordable price. The phrase "you get what you pay for" usually applies to the gun industry. Taurus G2C is (in my opinion) a hidden entry level option for those who can not or do not want to spend a lot. For reference, most pistols in a single class will cost around $ 500.
Taurus offers improved texture grip, extra rail thumb safety, and impressive 12 + 1 capabilities with the G2C. The “hand feel” obtained with the Taurus G2C is not great in my opinion - although I am comparing it to some of the leading options on the market.
Having seen the Taurus G2C first hand, I really expect lower prices. It's not a pretty gun, but it's not bad either. The grip has a decent texture and fits half comfortably in my hand - a good start here.
I have been taking the Taurus G2C to the line recently and have put hundreds of rounds of various genres along it. The G2C handled all the ammunition I gave it without issue - including some popular defensive rounds. The comeback was a bit stronger than I felt from a gun this size, but overall it was not scary.

One of the problems I encountered during the shooting was the key guard. The trigger seems to dig into the middle finger of my right (prominent) hand near the wrist as I try to maintain a high grip. I believe it's due to the angle of the protective key and the combination of pulling the key - something I will touch on in a little more depth in this review.
Journal publications in G2C are not advertised as duplicates. This will definitely prevent you from shooting left. As for the magazine release settings, I really enjoyed it and had no problem using it. I would say the exit is a bit on the small side and a little sharp around the edges - not a big deal, but should To note.
The external feature process proved to be mostly straightforward - though I found the slide release a bit stiff. I do not like to see manual safety on the CCW pistol like what was found on the G2C, but it is quite accessible.
For pistols at this price point, I do not expect much in terms of sight and trigger. My experience with both was not good in my time with G2C in the queue. I did not find the scene horrible, but the trigger was less than the pistol I tried.

Recording and re-recording video after the shoot is manageable with factory video. The classic three-point setup is found on the G2C, which proves to be easy. As with most charms, you will not find them suitable for any low light shooting.
Tips on G2C is something I really do not like. I may have fired a nerve gun in the past with a better trigger - yes, it's a bad thing. A distinctive feature of the G2C trigger is that it is the only action with a re-strike. I can see how useful it can be in some circumstances - although I do not see it as necessary.
I encountered a trigger pull about 5 pounds against the wall and broke behind the key guard. While it may not bother some, this key style is hard for me to process. The trigger does not seem to break until now on the key I have to press the index finger down hard.
Although I can not say that it is connected, but the key protector seems to dig into my fist when I squeeze the key. I believe that long rides (combined with lower-than-normal defenses) played a role in that concern.

While out of range, I could take some time to test the muzzle speed from the G2C with the popular self-defense round - the Hornady 124 gr. XTP As I always do for this type of test, I fired five rounds, which were tracked using a Labrador device.
For reference, the Hornady advertises at 1,110 feet per second from a 4-inch container for 124 grams. XTP
My tests showed an average speed of 1,052 feet per second from the G2C. With a 3.2-inch tank, these results are expected. For those who want to see more information about my quick muzzle speed test, I have provided the following data.
When it comes to accuracy, I usually avoid getting into it too much because it depends a lot on the shooter. I feel confident with the accuracy of the G2C and can get a good shot in the defensive range. Shooting G2C quickly and accurately seems a bit harder than I could find with a weapon of this size. My theory is that pulling a long key is directly related to that experience.

In the gun market, saturated with prices ranging from low to high, individuals usually choose what they feel is the best balance of price and quality. G2C has a place in the rankings - although most say the rankings are very low.
If a $ 200 pistol is all you can do, then surely I feel good after firing it that the G2C will work and act when needed. With that in mind, I personally would have a hard time spending $ 200 to $ 250 on a G2C. Some of the most popular options on the market with better triggers than ergonomics and ultimately better build quality are not far from the price. If you really only have $ 200 to $ 250 to spend and do not have the necessary time to save further, I would spend that money on a used and respectable gun. The deal is there.
I am sure this option will still be a popular seller and I can appreciate the number of guns you get for the price. For myself and I am sure many others, believing in my life for the lowest priced weapon is unattractive. Taurus is one of the biggest names in easy-to-use weapons. What could be bigger than their sales is feedback on their products. Walk into any gun store and you will see Taurus pistols and those who are passionate about them, including me. After a very negative experience in my youth, I did not have the highest opinion of Taurus. By the way, I like to open my heart. After hearing some positive experiences with the latest Taurus products, it is time to give the company another image. With that in mind, I bought a new Taurus G2C in early 2019 for an amazingly low price of $ 186.
The G2C comes in a neat cardboard box that comes with two 12-round magazines. Always a man of fashion, I opted for an olive-colored frame, as opposed to the regular black model. The inside has a light oil layer, the outer bone is dry. The metallic finish is flat and slightly rough.

Management is simple but not very close to Southpaw. The magazine release is reversible, but the manual slide lock and safety lever are on the right. Intentional force required to oust magazine,
